For the forth year since 1998 about 140 people from  Jefferson and the surrounding communities joined together on the chilly Christmas Eve in the stable to celebrate Christ's birth.  As they arrived a light snow started to fall reminding us of the season.  The celebration included a live nativity with Mary and Joseph.  The children of the Sunday school presented a story about the animals at Christ's birth.  The service  included Bible readings and caroling.
