St. Paul 2008 Sanctuary Renovation Project

For the past many months a Worship Space ImProvement Team (WSIP) team has been moving our worship space renovation project forward.  Our current pews and carpet have needed replaced for many years.  As the schedule below shows the construction effort is about to start.  The project budget is $74,000, to date over $71,000 has been collected for the effort.  We look forward to your continued support of this important project.  As part of the project, the old pews have been offered to the members for a free will donation.  A sign-up sheet is located in the pathway room.

The renovation project includes:

  • Reworking the front step area to give us some additional space
  • Replacing old carpet with a combination of wood flooring and carpet
  • Replacing old pews with a combination of new pews and pew chairs.
  • Construction of portable kneeling rails from old rail
  • Moving carpet balcony and move choir area pews to balcony

June 16-21 Contracted installation of new pews
June 22 First Sunday in new space!
