A twenty foot
tree of peace was placed in front of the parish house for Christmas.
The tree was decorated with 212 red ribbons each with the name of a different
country on it. On December 24th at 4:00 PM about 110 people from
the community met at the base of the tree to pray for peace as we celebrated
the birth of the Prince of Peace. Displays from around the world
where located in the church Pathway room along with warm drinks and cookies.
The St. Paul Puppets provided a children's message at the outside service.
The children's choir shared their talent of song
Thanks to all those that helped with the Prince of Peace service especially
Mike who is apparently standing in the tree making "star" adjustments.
