Local Pastors Take to the Roof at Sunday Nite Live
A large number of the community turned out for an evening of fun on the St. Paul parish house lawn.  The first event was a magician who performed a number of mystifying tricks.  Then we where lead by guitars and sang a few songs.  Next the pastors of the three downtown Jefferson churches headed to the roof of the parish house for dinner.  This was to make good on their challenge that if the community collected 3000 items for the Jefferson Community Food Bank that the pastors would eat dinner on the roof.  At the end of the evening we lit candles and held a silent vigil for those that died or lost loved ones in the events of 9-11-01.
The magician provided fun entertainment for both young and old as the Pastors got up their nerve to ascend the ladder shown in the background.
A community sing along led by Brian and Bob.
Pastors going up!
Okay, so who's crazy idea was this challenge anyway?
So what was on the menu for dinner on the roof?  What no waiter?
The community came out to support a candle light vigil to pray for those lost in the 9-11 tragedy.
