Where the Spirit is Alive  &  Christ's Love is Shared

St. Paul Lutheran Church Council

The ministry of our church is guided by a constitution and council of ten members who are elected by the congregation for a two year term.  Council terms run from March through February
of the following year when new members are installed.  The two year terms are staggered by one year so that 5 new members are elected each year at the annual congregational meeting in February.

Growth in the Holy Spirit

St. Paul is an active, witnessing congregation and a member church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the largest Lutheran body in the nation. A variety of groups--such as Saint Paul's Youth (SPY), Women of the ELCA, and the Choirs add their unique emphases to the fellowship offered.  Service and social outreach opportunities of our church help make the congregation a place where Christians can grow in their appreciation for the love of God in Christ Jesus, their Lord.

St. Paul is air conditioned. An elevator makes our church building fully accessible to those who have difficulty with steps. A special children's sermon is a regular part of our Sunday worship.   St. Paul is located in Jefferson, MD. This is in Frederick County about 7 miles South West of Frederick, Maryland.
